All 10 Valley Teams Begin First Series Friday, Weather Permitting
There is nothing I like more here at MVCBaseball.com headquarters in central Pennsylvania then a good, crisp, Spring morning where the temperature is warm but not too warm, there’s a light breeze, and it’s almost like you can just see and smell baseball.
The last couple days, 30 or so degrees with a wind that will tear your lips off, haven’t been those kind of days. But another thing that’s great about baseball is when conference play starts and that means the Friday Stat Pack returns! Below are leaders entering this weekend’s first conference series. Remember that for stats such as batting average, players must have 2 plate appearances per team game played, and must have played in 75% of his team’s games, per NCAA stat regulations. For pitchers and stats like ERA, a pitcher must have worked at least 1 inning per team games played.
